Subject: Train Derailment

FYI

There is a train derailment @ Bayshore Rd and the driveway into Amports parking lot near the Benicia Bridge.

Nothing serious just a car carrier car, (auto rack), off the tracks, no spill just traffic impacts.

Contractors are on sight now with heavy lift equipment.

There was a similar incident on Saturday the 8th.

Crews have been working on repairs all week on that piece of rail for days.

Currently there is no traffic control on Bayshore, and the road is blocked.

The current situation is 3 auto rack cars laying on their side.

They are loaded with cars.

I have spoken to BPD dispatch and Randy Scott with Amports

Traffic is moving with one lane control.
