Solano County Coronavirus Report

Solano County saw four new COVID deaths overnight! One who died was 50-64 years of age, and the other three were over 65. Most of our deaths since the outbreak began (77%) have been over 65 years. The County also reported 44 new positive COVID cases among our neighbors today. The virus is still on the move. Stay safe, folks, get vaccinated, wear a mask!
The chart below shows how Coronavirus deaths are increasingly possible with age. Our elders die from COVID at a rate nearly 5 times that of younger Solano County residents. Solano County reported 42 new positive COVID cases overnight, and 2 new hospitalizations. Thankfully, no new deaths were reported today.

Solano County reported 31 new positive COVID cases overnight. For the first time in several days, no new deaths were reported.

Solano County saw six new COVID deaths over the 3-day weekend. All six were 50-64 years of age. Most of our deaths since the outbreak began (78%) have been over 65 years, so today’s report is unusual and possibly somewhat alarming. The County also reported 89 new positive COVID cases, an average of 30 of our neighbors each day. The virus is still on the move. Stay safe, folks, get vaccinated, wear a mask!
